Our visit to Turoe Pet Farm was fantastic this week. Junior and Senior Infants had bundles of fun playing together, enjoying the fresh air and learning about all the different animals at the farm. Super manners from all the children - maith sibh a pháistí!

'The whole world opened up to me when I learned to read'
Our Reading Challenge kicked off in style this term and will continue until June 6th. The children have been so excited to get lots of opportunities for reading throughout their day! We have shared some lovely reading experiences with Junior Infants throughout the month of May and June where we practiced reading both our Gaeilge and shared readers to each other. We practiced our listening skills along with learning to become more fluent and expressive with our reading.
We were also very lucky to link up with 2nd and 3rd class for some Buddy Reading this month. The children chose their favourite books and got to share them with their friends in McNamara's classroom. Oh how fortunate we are to have such shared learning experiences at our fingertips!
