Engineer's week has been very hands on for Senior Infants and 1st class this year. We have all worked really hard to create a setting in a shoebox! We had some beautiful city skylines, busy towns, a cinema, a beach and an art museum just to name a few. We focused on building a background which then led to making 3D structures for our trees, bridges and houses. This activity linked in beautifully with our writing topic this term - procedural writing. As always, the children were very proud of themselves and ended the week presenting their projects to the other classes in the school. Very well done to all!
