The children were fascinated this term with our very own batch of butterfly eggs growing and changing in front of our very eyes! Each day we discussed the changes we could see as the eggs grew from caterpillars, transformed into their chrysalides and then after another 11 days emerge as beautiful Painted Lady butterflies. The excitement when we released them into the wild was immense!
